Fane is very well-conformed coloured male with excellent lustre, good density and a lovely soft handling fleece.  He has excellent genetics on both sides of his pedigree and has a friendly, placid disposition.  

His  fleece stats (December 2011) are as follows: 23.3µ, 4.5 SD, 19.3% CV with a comfort factor of 93.8%. 

He has sired some lovely cria, including Tarahill Lulu who has a fine, lustrous fleece (18.3μ and 4.1 SD).

Fane had a successful show career and was awarded the following:
